About Us / Message From the Owner:

Dear Potential Client,

Thank you for considering Foothill Construction for your project. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you about our company. Foothill Construction General Contractors, Inc. is a California State licensed general construction firm specializing in residential building, additions, remodeling and repairs.

We are a family owned corporation based in La Crescenta, CA. As a medium sized company, we can afford to give each project and client the personal attention needed to produce an excellent product. Our company core values are integrity and quality workmanship at a fair price.

We are currently involved in “Green Building” and adhere to such practices in our work. We are also well-versed in “Universal Design”—the building concept that says our work should be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.

I have been a licensed contractor since 1986 and a general contractor since 2000. My father, an engineer/construction project manager and sons also work for the company.

We field two company construction crews each led by an experienced lead supervisor who manage daily project operations. Lead Supervisor Jorge Martinez and I have worked together for fifteen years. He specializes in electrical, plumbing and masonry work. Lead Supervisor Saul Luna is an industry veteran in his own right – his crew specializes in rough and finish carpentry.

As a company, we retain the ability to complete all work “in house.” This allows for us to maintain the highest level of quality, schedule flexibility and continuity. Where it makes sense, we utilize a select group of trusted sub contractors who subscribe to our same construction philosophy. We are also proud to offer design and architectural services.

Our goal is to work as a team with our client; to build a quality project that will serve our client’s needs and stand the test of time. We won’t cut corners. Whether it’s visible or not, we deliver the same level of quality in our work. Many times we are not the cheapest bid on a job, but generally not the most expensive. In the construction business, you usually get what you pay for and many times the “cheapest” bid can become the most expensive.

From big jobs to small repairs, from project conception to plan preparation, through permits and approvals, and through all phases on construction, we take great pride in handling your project efficiently and professionally. I am happy to provide references upon request.
